Category Manager to Kjell & Company

We are entering a new chapter of strategic development, strengthening our category management capabilities, modernizing our systems, and sharpening how we bring products and brands to market. As part of this journey, we are looking for a Category Manager to drive the commercial success of key product areas and shape our offering for the years ahead.
Assignment
As Category Manager, you will own the strategy, performance, and development of several assigned category families. You will curate the best assortment of electronics and accessories for all our sales channels and take full responsibility for profitability, pricing, supplier collaborations, and category growth.
You will work cross‑functionally with marketing, planning, sourcing, and retail to drive commercial impact and ensure we deliver a competitive and customer‑relevant assortment.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Lead assortment development and full product lifecycle management.
Own category P&L and act on deviations to meet commercial targets.
Develop category strategies and select products and brands based on business plans and channel needs.
Build annual budgets and seasonal plans for all product lines.
Negotiate supplier terms to maximize revenue, margin, and promotional support.
Drive inventory performance, forecasting accuracy, pricing strategy, and markdown actions.
Collaborate closely with marketing, planning, sourcing, and own‑brand development, including campaign and performance reporting.
Your background
We are looking for a commercially driven Category Manager with strong analytical skills and a passion for technology.
You have:
Documented knowledge within tech categories.
3–5 years of relevant work experience in category management, buying, or similar roles.
Strong analytical ability and data‑driven decision-making skills.
Understanding of market dynamics and trends within your product areas.
Strong numeracy skills and commercial mindset.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This role is based at our headquarter office in central Malmö.
